Vape Liquid

Good old fashion nicknames. Like Dallas and the Lone Star state, vape liquid comes with many different names, too — e-liquid, vape liquid, and liquid. Vape liquids that contain zero nicotine are made up mostly of vegetable glycerin (VG) or propylene glycol (PG).

Vape e-liquid comes in all different flavors — grand apple, succulent blackberry, delicious dragon fruit, cotton candy, to name a few. We want to hear from the members of Vape Militia. Tell us your favorite flavor?

What is Vape E-Liquid?

With vaporizers and box mods heating up the market, vape liquid is the most vital and important element of vaping. Vape liquid is the fluid used in vaporizers and electronic cigarettes that creates the actual vapor. Most liquids are of 70VG/30PG blend, which seems to be the industry standard. PG is the flavor carrier — VG generates the cloud and assists in proper viscosity and vaporization. Not to be confused with vape juice or e-juice — vape liquid is available at Vape Militia in Houston.

Due to the issues with minors vaping and politicians attacking the vaping industry, we do not use the terms vape juice as the perception is that candy and fruit flavors appeal to minors. In relation to vaping and e-liquid, juice is a word that is being outmoded by the industry due to its perception to actual juice that kids drink.

What is PG E-Liquid?

PG stands for Propylene Glycol, a petroleum by-product. The fluid has no odor or color and is less viscous than VG. In vaping it is used to provide a ‘throat hit’, which some users claim is similar to the sensation experienced when smoking tobacco. It also carries flavor more effectively than VG, making it the most used suspension fluid for flavor concentrates and nicotine.

What is VG E-liquid?

VG stands for Vegetable Glycerin. It is a natural chemical, derived from vegetable oils, so is safe for vegetarians. It is commonly used in e-liquid to give a ‘thick’ sensation to vapor. VG has a slightly sweet taste and is considerably thicker than PG. Vegetable Glycerin provides a much smoother throat hit that Propylene Glycol, making it more suitable for sub-ohm vaping. While nicotine and flavorings are commonly suspended in PG, some vendors are offering a VG alternative, to enable 100% VG mixes.
